Pure Green hereby explicitly declares that products bearing the NatCert quality seal would not automatically or at any given time receive a corresponding COSMOS or NATRUE certificate. This would be an impermissible preemption of a certification process which may need to be carried out for the particular product. Certification according to the COSMOS or NATRUE standard can only be carried out by the particular body in each case (according to Belgian law and as Association internationale sans but lucratif , AISBL). Pure Green recommends that products which bear the NatCert quality seal undergo the actual process of certification of the seal that is estimated to be possibly in use internationally – either COSMOS or NATRUE.

This can be carried out, for example, after a test or introductory phase in order to verify a product or its success on the market.
